How To Set Up Gmail On Your Nokia N82

有試過可以運作，真是太神奇了.
手機需要有比較好的操作介面，才會更貼近使用者。
看來如果打字還是要用 QWERTY 鍵盤比較方便。
如果上網費用和使用者介面能夠改進的話，一定會很流行。
There are a few ways to check your Gmail on your Nokia N82, I mentioned one way a few weeks ago. Lately I've been using the built-in email application on the N82, and I'm loving it once again. If you set up your Gmail using this method, it will keep your real Gmail inbox in your browser and your phone's inbox in sync. If you dig deep enough into the settings you can even set up your labels as folders. I just use my normal inbox on my N82, and deal with the Gmail labels in Firefox.
Here is how to set up your Gmail for your Nokia N82:
How To Setup Gmail On Your S60 Device:
1.Enable IMAP in your Gmail account settings.
2.Select 'Messaging' > 'Options' > 'Settings' > 'E-mail' > 'Mailboxes.'
3.If you have never set up email on your phone before, select 'Yes' to define a new mailbox. If you already have other mailboxes, select 'Options' and then 'New mailbox.'
4.Select 'Start' to begin the setup wizard.
5.Select 'IMAP4' and then 'Next.'
6.Enter your Gmail username (including '@gmail.com') as the email address and select 'Next.'
7.Enter 'imap.gmail.com' as the incoming mail server and select 'Next.'
8.Enter 'smtp.gmail.com' as the outgoing mail server and select 'Next.'
9.Select the appropriate access point and then 'Next.'
10.Enter a descriptive name for the email account mailbox name.
11.Once your mailbox is set up, select it from the email mailbox settings screen.
12.Select 'Connection settings' > 'Incoming e-mail.'
13.Enter your Gmail username (including '@gmail.com') and password.
14.Select 'SSL/TLS' for your security (ports) and define your port as '993.'
15.Select 'Back.'
16.Select 'Outgoing e-mail.'
17.Enter your Gmail username (including '@gmail.com') and password.
18.Select 'StartTLS' for your security (ports) and define your port as '587.'
19.Select 'Back' and change any other settings according to your preferences.

Gmail's IMAP vs. POP
The reason why I use Gmail's IMAP service is because it keeps your mail in sync between both devices, unlike POP setup. If I read an email on my phone, it shows as "read" on both my computer and phone. Same goes for the other way around. Check it on my computer, and it shows as "read" on my phone as well. You can set it to check your mail at different intervals, mine is set to 2 hours, unless I'm expecting an important email.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. It can be tricky, you gotta follow the steps exactly and make sure you type everything right.

N82的SIP設定方式

N82既然有內建的SIP跟網路電話選項, 不用的話實在有點可惜
不過遍尋了很多地方都找不到如何設定, 後來總算弄懂了
設定方式如下
1. 先弄來一個Voip的Provider, 以我的話我是用VoipStunt
(打很多地方免費, 台灣的室內電話就是免費, 像香港或美國是連手機都免費, 不過打大陸就沒有了)

*注意voipstunt沒辦法線上註冊, 要download他們的那個軟體裝在PC上執行才可以註冊新的帳號
我是註冊完就把那個軟體移掉了
2. 取得帳號密碼後就是設定手機了, 先設定SIP操作模式
在手機上 設定->連線->SIP設定->新增SIP操作模式->使用預設操作模式
操作模式名稱 : VoipStunt
服務操作模式 : IETF
預設存取點：應該都可以(我是用自己的AP)
公共使用者名稱 : 帳號@voipstunt.com
使用壓縮 : 否
使用安全性 : 否
Proxy伺服器不用設
登錄伺服器
登錄伺服器位址 : sip.voipstunt.com
領域 : voipstunt.com
使用者名稱 : 帳號
密碼 : 密碼
傳輸類型 : UDP
通訊埠 : 5060
3. 設定好SIP後就要指定網際網路通話操作模式
設定->連線->網際網路通話->新操作模式
名稱 : 隨便
SIP操作模式 : VoipStunt
4. 然後去執行網路電話, 他就會去連線了
(要掛斷連線的話也是從這邊)
5. 連上線以後, 執行程式那邊會多出一個地球符號, 表示可以使用網路電話了
只要輸入電話號碼(要有+國碼)後, 按選項選網際網路通話就會撥號囉
*平時撥號時會顯示對方的號碼, 用網路電話的話會顯示「電話@Voip Provider」, 像我就是顯示 +886612345678@voipstunt.com
我今天有試撥台灣的市內電話, 聲音是很嚇人的清楚, 不過會有2秒左右的延遲, 一開始很不習慣
聲音品質跟我用SMC的wskp100不相上下, 甚至更好 (都用同一個AP)
但至少不用付Skype out的錢了
跟fring打市話相比的話, 除了不需要付skypeout的錢之外, 撥號動作等使用上是直覺得多了
(不過fring可以直接丟訊息上twitter, 所以我還是有在用)
大概是這樣
